Windtech Duster EN B+ wing 2022

We introduce the new Windtech EN B+ wing: The Duster. Inspired in the Bali-2 improved with many new features to make it the most attractive and innovative intermediate wing for the next years to come. Windtech Duster: more lightness, durability and performance It is lighter than the Bali-2 but it is not super light. It weights 4kg for the small size and not even 5 in the large size. This is one kilogram lighter than previous model and you can feel it intently. Deflations are now much easier and it recovers faster. To make the wing lighter we had to use 27gr fabric instead of the 32/38gr fabric combination we have chosen. It is done in D20 and D30 for profiles and leading edge. We had severely tested this fabric in the Balilai and 4 years after this fabric has amazing results with values near 1000 seconds on very used wings. Duster’s risers are normal webbing but pulleys have been replacing by ceramic ring. All this make a very durable wing with excellent values on the second hand market. Windtech Duster: optimized profile and lines The other main features are a new profile, slightly thinner and with a more aggressive shark nose on the leading edge. Line consumption has been reduced with the replacement of the C-D cascade. For that reason, we have made a half circle mylar reinforcements with double rod to save 20m of lines and make a speed system much more efficient. The wing glides better at full speed and it is faster. In this model all lines are unseated to improve the glide angle and performance wise it behaves like a modern C wing.
